| Thallus pale greyish white to pale fawn, thin, smooth, slightly glossy. Ascomata black, conspicuous, sessile, simple, sinuous, 1–3 mm long, 0.15–0.25 mm wide, with an inconspicuous basal thalline margin; lips closed. Proper exciple laterally carbonised. Hymenium 75–100 µm thick, not inspersed. Ascospores 8 per ascus, irregularly uniseriate, transversely (8–) 10–12-locular, 20–35 (–40) × 6–8 µm, I+ blue. CHEMISTRY: No lichen compounds detected. |

| Corticolous in eastern Qld, N.S.W. and Vic.; also in Central and South America, Angola, the Philippines and Lord Howe Island. | ||
